“The last time I rode one was 40yrs ago.Its great fun,and brings back great memories.I can't believe I can get around 75 mpg.A very underrated bike.I you get the chance to ride one go for it.It scares me to think, those skinny tyres hold the road so good. Why buy a cheap Chinese bike. You can buy an RXS for less money. It will hold its value,if you look after it.”
“you have to remember that the rxs is a single cylinder 98cc 2stroke. 2 strokes are known for being un economical but make up for that in their performance.
My RXS is an 86 reg and as long as the repairs are done correctly, it's the smoothest ride with the most comfortable thick padded seat and smooth suspension.”
“A great little bike of only 98cc, but apart from stubborn hills, keeps up with the traffic flow and maintains a reasonable speed. Being a 24 year old bike it pays to appreciate its limitations against a modern bike. Ideal for journeys under 50 miles and on B roads, not a motorway cruiser! Extremely reliable, easy kick start and looks good.”
“This was a e reg bike, left on a lawn for several years. A full strip down, repaint and fresh consumables. It runs like it should now, as in 1987 technology. great for what it is and a bit of cheap fun. easy to maintain and low cost. A good starter bike, consider modifications to make it yours.”
