“For a bike that is 16 years old, it runs just like it was new. The comfort is exceptional and it manages upwards of 65 miles to the gallon. The only tradeoff is the single cylinder engine lacks a bit of umph, it maxes out at around 65-70 mph which is fine but struggles uphill and if you have a heavy bag on the back you'll find yourself doing 50 everywhere. It starts every time and is insanely reliable, although rattles a bit and loses power when it's cold. The lack of dials is a bit disconcerting, there is no fuel gauge, clock or any other luxuries that you get on the later models. I paid £775 for mine but I'd aim for 500 - 600 if I was going to buy the exact bike again.”
“Rides well even after a few knocks. For a bike 14 years old you wouldn't know it. If there are problems, and let's face it you get them riding all year round, it is simple to fix. Starts even in the worst weather Britain has to offer and extremely comfortable for a short arse like me.”
