Possibly my favourite bike ever. I love the way it rumbles along with plenty enough power when needed. Handles well and comfy too. (I'm nearly 6'4"). I know sportsbike riders diss them as the Tedium but I'd far rather ride this that a frustratingly quick sporty you can't get out of 2nd .

A good bike for camping with, 500 miles fully loaded in one day, no problem but would be better if it had a better MPG, 43/44 is not good. mechanically no problems, I give it a good service at least every year and give it a check over once a week. The bike is 19 years old, I have had it for 10 years, it has only required tyres, 1 battery, brake pads, chains just the usual consumables. One of the best all round bikes I have ridden in over 50 years. Whilst out earlier this year I rode into a lot of fog and mist and noticed that many cars did not have rear fog lights on, guess what, bikes do not have them fitted. that evening I went on ebay and found many cheap red and white very bright lcd lights, I purchased 4 red and 2 white lights, cable and switch for about £20. I fitted them in about 1 hour. This has to be the best money and time spent on my bike ever and no problems with police or mot testers. As a retired person who enjoys riding but does not mend easy, these lights help make me more visible and safer.
