“Great bike, helped me to slow down due to the wind blast..!! looks class..old men usually stand and comment "now that looks like a real bike". Small fuel tank so comfort isn't a problem as you are not on it for long before it needs re-fuelled. Absolutely kills the battery in no time (1 a year). Brilliant with the V-Boost system, I will never sell it.”
“What a fabulous machine, it needs treating with respect else it will bite you hard. Awsome power but 1980's handling. Corners well on smooth road conditions. Forcing it through left/right combination of bends is a joy but poor road surfaces need the utmost respect and care. It is one of three bikes in my stable and the one that gives me the biggest grin factor. It has very good manners around town and is as docile as you want it to be, but on the open road, prepare yourself for the boost to kick in at circa 5800/6000 revs and you will be grinning from ear to ear, wife loves it, which is a bonus. I'm not a 'born again biker' I'm 68, weigh 62 kilo, have been riding since my 16th birhday. The V-Max is both a pussy cat and a snarling mad pit bull. My brother has had his V-Max for 10 years and cannot find anything else to replace it with. Love it Love it.”
