“. . . had an XL600R which i really liked, had it all done up for a trip to the Açores and it was nicked the day it was finished (inside job) i fear, now to me that was a bike grunty punchy n agile and relatively simple but then i looked for another and it was impossible to find so i thought i try an ugly alternative that was going to be reliable and that no one would nick and would last and it was and i got used to it and started to really like it then it didn't look so ugly, by todays standards its very slow and lazy and comfortable and i quite like that now except for the brakes they are terrible, SS disc and only one but one just has to ride to the fashion of that single discs capability its 28 years old and probably a lot more life in it than me.”
