“This to me is still the best Supermotard around do much so I am on my4th XT my first was a XT600e back in the 90s then 3 XTXs up to today it's comfortable easy to ride and has the power I need, ok its the fastest bike out there but then again I don't want fast course if I did I would get a sports bike. In short I love my XT660X 2010 And highly recommend them.”
“I really wouldn't want any other bike apart from the XT, every ride is a pleasure and so much fun. It has enough power and grunt to make it rapid without it being scary. Although it's not the lightest bike it's extremely maneuverable and can get through small gaps. It corners well whether its a long sweeping turn or if your slamming it round tight twistied. I've done some green laneing on the bike and it held up very well. I believe this is the most reliable engine made by Yamaha and is even used on quads, I've never had any issues providing you take care of it.”
“Being a single cylinder 660 it has a lot of talk. This makes it quite a rough ride at low revs. You need to be in the right gear at the right revs much more so than a 4 cylinder 600 (much smoother ride).
A single cylinder 660 is a good weekend bike to have a bit of fun on, but if your after an everyday bike get a 2 or 4 cylinder.”
