“Didn't want a new bike as budget was limited so chose the R6 '02 plate based on the looks and overall condition. Took time to find a decent older bike but worth it in the end. The R6 is reputed to be quite twitchy and maybe not ideal for inexperienced riders. I was away from bikes for 30 years and it took some time to feel confident but as always you only need to go as quick as your abilities. I use the bike for daily commuting and weekend days out, it fits my requirements. Its not an ideal commute but makes up for the compromise as its ideal for runs out at weekends.”
