“I bought the bike three years ago as a last minute upgrade from an old 600 genesis. Before that I owned a 2007 CBR600RR which was and maybe is still my favourite bike. That said, the 04 R6 is the most enjoyable bike I've ridden. It's so easy to throw around corners, it never gives up on you and it's relatively responsive, light weight and a great in all conditions. The bike is my only vehicle and sees every season & weather condition and it's great in them all. It doesn't like standing in traffic or moving slowly through built up areas but neither do I. All told I'm happy with the bike and I'll be keeping hold of it for the foreseeable future.”
“The bike isn't for the feint of heart. I have this bike from being a complete novice to biking. I wouldn't recommend this. For a first bike it's not the best choice. If you have experience on bikes then great. For an experienced rider the Nike will give you everything you need from speed to handling. If your a novice it can catch you out. If I could go again I'd have brought a learner 600, simply because assessing myself I didn't have either the skills or knowledge to ride it properly. But hey that's my failing not the bikes.
Otherwise it's a cracking bike and would thoroughly recommend it to all.”
“Great bike, not a beginners bike but you could sown be on one happily, a bit firm for the usual roads, suspension quite hard as it's more track focused, has to be wound up but what 600 doesn't.”
“A bike that's now 16 year old, but it rides and looks like a bike that's 6 year old, if your in the market for an older bike, look no further, money can't buy a better machine, I promise”
