“BMW R1200 GS Adventure 2010 great bike and has inspired a new passion for motorcycling after previously coming from sports bikes. Visually its imposing and once you get over the static weight it's easy to handle. Not particularly fast if you've come from sports orientated machines but for covering distance in comfort and safety it is excellent. Had had the bike now for three years and have had to replace a rear ABS speed sensor but other than that it's been great. I guess the only thing I would change from the newer GS is the more powerful engine and the screen adjustment. Expensive new but there is an huge amount of quality used bikes second hand to suit everyone's budget. Off to the Alps in September and more than happy to be on the GS.”
