“I Love the look of the Rallye with the tank decals and the red frame.
I've ridden around France and Italy over the Dolomites and Alpes and love the handling even two up fully loaded.

“Poor build quality, paintwork on main frame very thin and in some areas non-existent, engine poor paintwork, again some areas non-existent and paint also flaking. Rear wheel paintwork starting to bubble (Corrosion starting beneath the paint). Rear brake calliper seized), all within 12 months.
The other issue is that the heel guards are useless and provide no protection to the frame from rubbing, paint rubbed away within a few months, BMW replied that it was my riding style that had caused the paint from rubbing?????.
After some time sending emails, phoning and visiting dealerships, all issues were done under warranty. The calliper, I had to argue that a service had been done and I had only covered 1000 miles since, so there was no way the calliper and the brake pads should have been in that state considering I was cleaning the bike weekly.”
“First bike which I love but it is a heavy beast to manhandle.
Comfortable and chunky, I love it.
Maybe not the best starter bike for U turns etc but learning fast.
I'm V happy with it.”
