“A brilliant machine for 2 up or single toùring. The newly improved gearbox makes for smoother gear changing and the power and engine breaking is superb. This is the 3rd R1200RT that I have owned and I have never been disappointed with any of them. Having just purchased my 3rd my wife and I are now touring in Spain, riding down from Cherboug through France. We will have completed about 2.5 k by the time we get home. Last year we did 9k in three months touring France, Belgium, Germany and the East and West coast's of Scotland, during which time the bike performed brilliantly and never missed a beat.. A great bike with loads of storage for long trips.”
