“I bought this Pegaso Factory as part of a probate from the family of a man who sadly suddenly passed away. It had been sat for a while so needed some TLC. Replaced suspension bearings, front wheel bearings and a few other bits, runs very well. Developed a hot starting problem that was likely fuel pump problem and saw it was due a recall for exactly that issue. Fixed and now seems to be fine.
Overall it's a great all-rounder with lots of torque. The XT660 engine is very tractable and fairly frugal so very pleased. The most enjoyable part is that it's something different and I have to say that I think I will keep it long term. Something I haven't done with many bikes over the 35 years I've been riding bikes on the road....”
