“I've had the bike for years and it's a great bike for the road (I've had the R1s, gsxr 1000s and Fireblades) have also done quite a few Cadwell Park trackdays on it. I always go in the slow group as the bike cannot keep up with the jap multi's on the straights but is a match for them in the bends.
Who needs 190 bhp for the road anyway, how many riders can honestly say they can use that amount of power and if you can you should be racing. If you have never ridden an old aircooled Ducati and are used to the sports bikes you may find it really odd and not like it one bit but I love it. I'm over 70 so the slow bike and slow group suits me well.”
