“Had lots of V twins. Mostly Aprilia from Edwards reps to Tuonos ( even a V4 ) Loved them all Had ridden a few Ducati's before but never owned one. Fancied the Monster due to low seat and THAT motor. Wasnt disappointed!! What a motor!! Only fault I can find is a bit of a vague feeling from the front end. Bit flighty at lower speeds, fast sweepers are fine, tried a few adjustments but no better. Getting used to it now......doesn't do anything nasty.....just a feeling. Overall a fabulous bike with power to spare!!”

Feel of rear brake is not so good in traffic.
Instrument panel is completely useless when the sun is out and very hard to read when it's not dark. I wish they would upgrade it, I would definitely replace it if possible. When the sun is out I have no idea what speed I am doing. Ok, revs I can live without since I can feel the engine, but going past an unfamiliar speed camera when it's sunny is a nightmare!”
