“My first taste of a V-twin, unbelievable power delivery...verging on brutal. Comfort is also a bonus, as I am quite tall it was important to get a bike that accommodated a taller rider. I have had it for ten years now and it has been 100% reliable and always puts a smile on my face! The only real problem with these bikes, which wont come as a surprise to anyone is that the bike isn't the greatest to ride through town while commuting or in traffic...it wants to be out on fast A and B roads ,or better still a track day, displaying it's fantastic handling and awesome power delivery. I know it isn't super fast compared to modern machinery, but it really is more than enough for most people!”
“owned from new and love it, massive grin factor even after 10 years.
Lots of grunt and just eats bends but not the most comfortable bike in the world (well not at my age) but the grin factor more than makes up for that.”
“Timeless classic. Whilst last years crop of Japanese supersports look out of date, these always look stylish and classy.
As fast as you need, bags of character and beautiful. Ridiculously cheap to buy and pretty durable too, especially for an Italian.
Love it to bits.”
“Best bike I've ridden. I'm no Rossi but the Mille is as quick as I need, very stable, reasonably comfortable (I've travelled down to Southampton & back from the West Midlands over 2 days with no major aches or pains) & is surprisingly frugal (50+mpg)
If you're looking at buying a cheap reliable Superbike, then the Mille could just be the bike for you! Only 1 negative - pillions need to ideally be short in stature as otherwise they won't thank you for the ride!!!”
“I have owned my RSV mille from new and in that time its been 100% reliable. It will keep up with most things on the road and will take two up as well. I love the bike.”
