“My experience with Omnidesk has been deeply disappointing. Before placing my order on November 25th, I specifically requested that delivery be delayed until at least December 12th, as I would be out of state until then. I was assured multiple times that this would not be an issue, and my request was noted. At no point was I told that delaying delivery was not a service Omnidesk could guarantee—only that stock availability might not be guaranteed on my requested date.
Despite these assurances, the delivery was attempted early on December 2nd. When I brought this up with customer service, I was told it wouldn’t happen again. However, the delivery was attempted five more times before I was finally able to pick it up on December 10th.
The customer service throughout this process has been abysmal. I spent two days trying to get in touch with their team—calling, emailing, and using their chat system—without any response. When someone finally got back to me on Friday, December 13th, I was assured that the swap for the smaller desk I had requested would be arranged first thing on Monday, December 16th. The advisor also promised to email me individually right after our chat to confirm the details. That email never arrived, and by midday Monday, I had to reach out again, only to be told they would “look into it now.” I was not given any timeline for the swap, and as of today, I am still waiting for an update.
This is on top of the earlier issues with their handling of my order. My initial request to downgrade the desk size was supposedly actioned on November 25th, with a promise of an update within 48 hours. Yet I had to follow up myself, only to be told there were still no updates.
To make matters worse, Omnidesk’s response to my Google review was inaccurate and failed to acknowledge the numerous issues I faced. They claimed certain limitations in their services that were never communicated to me initially and contradicted the reassurances I was repeatedly given.
This experience has been one of the most frustrating customer service encounters I’ve ever had. From broken promises and poor communication to repeated delivery mishaps, Omnidesk has failed to provide even the most basic level of service I expected from a company of their reputation. I cannot recommend them based on this experience.”
