“I purchased the large natural wildwood with black legs. The wood is a great colour and gives the desk a "premium" look and feel. No regrets picking this over the black/white/bamboo versions, though I've never used those to properly compare.
Set up took about an hour. Not too difficult but some delay was caused by slight differences in the instructions on the manual and video on the website.
My one small complaint is that the tops of my thighs are always hitting the support bar in the middle when I'm sitting. Maybe I sit too close to the desk or my chair needs to be higher than most people. That being said, the Omnidesk is overall, a sturdy desk with quality parts and smooth, quiet mechanisms.”
“Bought this amazing Omnidesk Pro2020 Wildwood Collection (Richbrown) a month agoi and its amazing!! The table top colour is exactly what I wanted and it has a really nice finish. The desk is sturdy and solid built. Also bought the cable management tray for a clutter free setup and the Arc pro Dual monitor arm is really good add on! Got this table in XL(183x76cm) size which is perfect for our study area :)”
“I've already done my research and read all the raving reviews before I placed my order - and I was still pleasantly surprised.
Things I wish I could change - Should've went with XL; Drawer was alright but capacity is limited; If only Aus has the Ichi collection too but one can wish.
Things that are great - customer service; acacia wildwood top; stability and make is as advertised.
If you are thinking of getting one - the cable management bar is a MUST HAVE. After a bit of fiddling around there's only one cable coming out of my table going into the wall socket. Cable Management Bar. Get it.”
“Having a mix of WFH and gaming uses I’ve found the Omnidesk perfect for my needs. Everything is clamped to the desk and the motors have no issue changing heights.
I would have like two things to be better. The timber thickness need an extra 3-5 mm to add that prism out feel. Also the cut out for the cable management didn’t match the desk so the colors look off.
Even with these minor issues I’d buy again.”
“After comparing several desks, I purchased an Acacia Omnidesk Pro for my home office. Unfortunately, I ran into a few hiccups with the initial purchase (i asked if there was an upcoming sale, but the sales rep didn't know that a new promotion was about to start) and delivery was later than expected due to a change in drivers. But I received excellent after-sales support from Peter and his manager, and they resolved my problems. So I'm now thoroughly enjoying my new desk and setup. The Omnidesk is much more stable than my wife's Autonomous standing desk, which we bought from the US several years ago. The Omnidesk is also much faster going up and down. But my favourite feature is the Omnidesk cable management bar, which hides all but one power chord that I need to run to the wall. I also love the dual monitor arm, which I used to attach my 32" inch BenQ monitor and my MacBookPro. Because I'm close to a wall, i needed to play around with rotating the arms to keep the monitor and laptop flush to the back, which gives me the distance I need to not feel crowded by the bigger screen. All in all - I'm really pleased with the setup and price. One final word to advice: definitely watch the set up video -- the instruction manual is very hard to follow. I definitely would buy again and recommend to others.”
“I have been using my Omnidesk for 2 weeks and couldn't be happier about it.
The mounting is pretty straight foward and took me about 45 min by myself.
The pieces may fill a bit heavy but it allows the desk to be super sturdy. I often demonstrate it by sitting on it (I am 73kg) and use it to lift me up and down.
The quality of the material is impressive and the desk looks just so nice in my office.
