“I am a parent currently working from home with an adult university-age son.
The desk is great and would highly recommend getting one, not just for you, but as soon as possible for students to get them into the habit of mixing standing with sitting.
It was the gift of a smartwatch that asked me every hour to stand up that was the catalyst to purchase the desk. Comments and points in no particular order.
Memory settings - really important, especially if more than one person uses the desk. Some other brands don't have them.
Assembly - Like Ikea, with well-formed and aligned holes to screw in the screws.
Stability - feels very stable but I wouldn't try the table planking demo done in one of the promotional videos.
Delivery - A story in three parts with the only negative not directed at the manufacturer...
1- Timeliness of order - no problems
2- Courier delivery company - poor. The externals of the main box were so damaged I expected some internal damage. Partial delivery - the second part of the desk was delivered two days after the first partial delivery.
3 - Two good points to finish off this part of the comment - I emailed Omnidesk with my concerns and they responded with a detailed email with an option for escalation. Their high-quality internal foam packaging meant that despite the rough handling of the boxes, nothing was damaged or even scratched internally - a testament to the packaging quality.
Experience after a month of use?
I would definitely recommend it and more importantly, I find that I am switching between standing and sitting without putting it off, which is what I was doing with a normal sit down desk as I couldn't stand and continue working. I spend as much time standing as sitting, maybe more.
The watch or some other tool to remind you is a good thing to incorporate if you are investing in a stand up desk.”

The desks were simple to put together the instructions that came with the packaging was good and accurate. However, I did look at the instruction video on the OmniDesk website and that really made a difference in my understanding of the assembly process.
I was concerned how the desk motors would handle moving up and down with three large monitors on the desk plus the sundry bits and pieces of books and pens et cetera but they do that easily.
A good product sounds and feels solid, and as I work long hours on the computer has already saved the neck and back.”
