This is our second desk from Omnidesk the desks themselves are flawless but the delivery experience was a disgrace to delivery companies.
Last year in March I ordered a desk from Omnidesk and everything was smooth, from order to delivery.
This time around it was not as good to say the least. The order process was easy but the shipment is not.
We live in a building complex with a security door. To get through the delivery driver needs to dial the apartment number. The parcel was attempted to be delivered but whoever delivered it did not ring the unit (it may be the case we did not hear it ring but the unit is small and the door bell is loud so I assume the former).
I have contacted Hunter Express via email - as this is the only method that seems to work as there is no phone number I can seem to call through in that does not give automated answers. The website of the delivery company is generic too, lowering my expectations that they will be a good delivery company. In the delivery instructions I gave the instructions to call a phone number or door bell to get in. Anyway, so I emailed Hunter Express with my concerns that nobody rang the door bell and for the next delivery for them to ring the door bell or call the phone number I provided. The email response completely ignored my message and just stated 'delivery has been rescheduled'.
As it was attempted to be delivered on Friday I will have to wait until next week to receive the desk (and I am excited to receive the great desk).
If the delivery is missed again I would have to go to the depot and pick it up - but seeing as I paid $50 for shipping, I would expect that the driver could at least call or ring the door number - we aren't the only people living in a building complex in Australia.
The desk was delivered as per the reschedule. Although the driver was going to leave the items at the door of the unit complex - not into the unit as per our previous purchase of an Omnidesk table.
There was only one is us who was at home as I was at work. The only person home (as would any person by themselves) was unable to carry all the items, even one by one. Luckily there was a nice person passing by who helped her lift the items in the lift to our unit door.
The driver said he would not take it any further than the unit complex door in-case there was any damage or something - but again, the delivery company last year brought all the items all the way into our unit.
As for the desk, I love it! It looks great and functions great. We did have a bit of a space issue using the Omnidesk Pro Arc monitor holder and the cable tray.
So my main issue is why Omnidesk changed from a perfectly good delivery company to a company that does not even care to deliver or does the bare minimum.”

Though I had some trouble to install the desk and monitor arm at the beginning, the customer support team is absolutely helpful and patient to guide me.
