This desk is undeniably sturdy. Assembly can be quite tricky for a while until you get your head wrapped around the different parts shipped to you. The instructions could've been made easier to follow. My suggestion would be to perhaps update the assembly video and make it more detailed. That would've helped a ton, especially with optional accessories. I also had a bit of an issue with a missing pilot hole if legs were setup to have the control box on the left. Customer support was however very competent and more than willing to give the best advice possible. I barely know my way with a drill and assembly took me about 3 hours. I am guessing someone more skilled with furniture assembly would find this a very easy job. The assembled product is absolutely stunning. Very happy with this purchase and is definitely worth the money despite minor issues, especially when fixed height desks cost over 1500 bucks in the furniture store we were looking at prior to looking into Omnidesk.

I've had the desk for about a month now. No issues with assembly or operation. It has saved me a lot of desk space and allows me to swap easily between standing and seated. The saved height presets (up to 4, but I only need 2) allows you dial in the exact height to 0.1 mm for great ergonomics, with only 1 button press (once configured). I would recommend this to anyone considering improved posture by swapping between standing and sitting at the press of a button. Backed by a 7 year warranty I'm confident it should stand the test of time If I had to nit-pick, room for improvement could be having predrilled holes for the optional extra drawer. It was a little tricky getting all the cables routed so it looked tidy, but thats the fun part right?

Surprised by how sturdy the Omnidesk is. The desk doesn't wobble with two large monitors mounted. The cable management bar makes it easy to keep your set up clean and tidy. Would highly recommend for anyone working from home.

Overall this is a great desk. I bought the medium size when it was on sale and it's super quiet, sturdy, and the range of height adjustability is awesome. My only complaint is that the actual desktop is quite thin so any vibration/movement ripples throughout and up into my monitor arm/mic boom causing a bit of wobble. It's not very noticeable unless I'm really slamming the desk typing furiously, and it's not noticeable while gaming, but it would be great to be able to purchase a thicker desk top especially for mounting racing wheels etc. I'm usually pretty pedantic about this type of thing but as stated during most daily tasks its almost unnoticeable but feels like something that should be included in a review. I would also recommend purchasing add-on cable management tray as I didn't because I thought it was too expensive, but it seems very convenient. If a sit/stand desk is what you're looking for then I definitely would think about getting one of these because they are pretty reasonably priced and are easily available in Australia. Cheers

If you're reading reviews to work out whether you should spend *this much money* on a desk... just buy it. You know you want it. You know it's going to be fantastic. And it absolutely is. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. What I purchased: –Omnidesk Pro 2020 large (152 cm) in white (Signature Straight Edge) –White frame –White cable management bar –ARC Pro Dual monitor arm The main reason I decided to buy a sit-stand desk is the option to change my mind about the height. I had been having trouble with wrist pain from working (I work from home on the computer), and I had been researching options about setting up my workstation to relieve the pain. The choices of desk height, monitor height, keyboard tray, no keyboard tray, vertical mouse, split keyboard... it was overwhelming. So to have the option to not be locked into a fixed desk height was great. I had looked at other sit-stand desks (e.g., IKEA's IDÅSEN), but if you're going to invest in one, you may as well do it properly. If you buy cheap, you buy twice. Manual (rather than electric) was also an option I explored, but I'm trying to relieve my wrist pain, and cranking a desk up and down all down did not seem like the smart option. I didn't think I would use the height adjustability as much as I do, but I've used it every day, multiple times each day. For work, I change from typing to reading on the computer screen to reading hard copy on my desk and taking hand-written notes. I change my desk height for each task, so I don't slouch over my desk. I was concerned that a black desk with black legs would fill up my space too much and make everything look too dark, so I went all white (top and frame). What also swayed me away from black were that some reviews I had found mentioned that the black top showed white marks when things were moved over the surface. Although these marks could be immediately wiped away, I'm a neat freak, so I knew anything that added visual clutter to the desk would distract me constantly. I love the all-white desk, and I think it looks crisp and fresh. I also purchased the cable management bar in white so nothing stuck out on the desk. I found the cable management bar is great and gives you that extra recess to store any excess cables so they aren't curled on the desk or hanging underneath. After looking at pictures, I was worried about the clearance between the bar and the desk and not being able to fit anything in there, but the space you have to access the bar is great—the ends are open, there are three cut-outs in the back and there's lots of clearance on the front side that doesn't screw into the desk. The only real issue with the desk itself was the assembly instructions. The diagrams of where the screws go and which screws went where was difficult to interpret. My suggestions for rectifying this issue were going to be including close-up diagrams of where all the screws go, individual pictures for each step and a large image of each of the screws next to their label... but I've gone back through the manual, and it has all these things. However, it is still hard to understand, which tells me that the problem isn't the idea but the execution. The diagrams and text make it feel incredibly technical, and this is alienating for those (like me) who don't deal with technical things often. This appears to be a continuing issue, based on the reviews I've read. My suggestion to ensure all customers have a positive experience and don't feel like giving up when faced with the blocks of text in the manual is to work with a graphic designer who can create a plain layout that is easy on the eye. The video instructions that complement (or replace, depending on which you prefer) the hard copy instructions were also difficult to follow at times because the language used to refer to the screws is not the same as the language used in the instructions or on the packaging the screws came in—the language also doesn't seem to remain consistent throughout the video. However, the great part about the hardware was that it came in labelled packaging, which meant you didn't have to decipher which screws were which based on comparing them to a picture. Another issue I had was with the delivery company, TNT. Although it came (the first time) within five days after my ordering it on a Sunday, my experience was the same as some others—the first I knew that a delivery date had been scheduled was when I found a card on my front door that told me they had tried to deliver my desk and I wasn't home. I didn't receive a notification that they were coming that day, so I had to reschedule. I also tried to get the delivery driver to wait for me to inspect the desk (as instructed by Omnidesk for warranty reasons), but he refused. Luckily, the desk was fine. Omnidesk's customer service was fantastic. I asked a few questions via email and requested an invoice, and these requests were answered promptly. Overall, a fantastic purchase.

The omni desk is sturdy and has a really nice feel. I would have given 5/5 stars but for an expensive desk the QC is bit shonky. There were glue marks on the underside of the desk and rubber bushes were installed incorrectly on the legs. Apart from these minor gripes, the desk is sturdy and in general the build quality is good. In all fairness I would give it 4.5/5. The motor is quite and smooth and only time will tell how long they will last. Definitely recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a standing desk.

I have been really impressed with Omnidesk, both in terms of the products supplied and the service. There was a minor scratch on the underside of the desk due to damage in shipping, and Omnidesk arranged a courier pickup of the damaged desk and delivery of a replacement within a week. All throughout, Peter from Omnidesk service was quick to reply and very helpful, friendly and clear with his communication. The desk is sturdy and has a really nice feel to it, the motor is smooth and fairly quiet, and the monitor arms are stable. The instructions were fairly clear (especially when read alongside the online video) and everything assembled easily with no misalignment of screws or missing pre-drilled holes. I also purchased the desk a few days before a sale started, and when I asked Omnidesk was quick to agree to apply the discount (which I used to purchase some additional accessories!). I would happily recommend Omnidesk to anyone looking for a sleek, modern and sturdy standing desk.

Set-up the study recently to allow my wife and I to share the office space as we alternate working from home days. The Omnidesk has made this so easy - plug and play set-up - and is so ergonomically friendly that it is a pleasure to work from home (beats the dining table where I have been set-up for the last 12 months!).
