“Purchased an Omnidesk Pro XL(180 cm) sized desk and couldn't be happier with the choice. Got the desk delivered within 4 days (weekend included) in the middle of a lockdown. There are quite a few options in the market but the responsiveness to queries and the quality for the price differentiates them from competition. There are good crisp videos on how to assemble which greatly helped and overall the desk is very solid and can take the weight of my ultrawide monitors to lift up or down. Very happy with the purchase overall!”
“Great desk so far. The matt finish is nice, but will scratch easily (there was a scratch on it when I un-boxed it, but nothing too major so I didn't raise the issue). The mechanism is smooth and appears to be very well built. I did look at alternative sit and stand desks, but am happy I chose Omnidesk. In the future I'll probably upgrade to a hardwood top, but for now the black is fine.”
“Excellent desk to use. Transition between heights is smooth, quiet and easy to adjust quickly. Very sturdy and stable. Desk depth is excellent for allowing a monitor and space to work in front.
Contents came packaged very well. I live in a rural area of Aus and as expected the packages were rather battered when they arrived, but none of the contents were damaged.
Excellent service from the Omnidesk team.
Would recommend to have a second person, electric drill and a torch when assembling the desk. When adding the legs in the position shown in the first steps (upside down on desktop), they do not quite sit flush with the holes for the screws on the frame which are set inwards and quite dark. Once assembled everything lines up perfectly, it's just a bit awkward to get the first step done alone. A second set of hands to hold a torch and the leg in the correct position will make your life easier. Even so, the process is simple enough and the instructions and video online are easy to follow. (I was able to do the build alone.) Keep your second person around to help move the desk about. It is very heavy.
The optional cable management bar is a good size and can hold adapter boxes easily. Being easily able to change the height of the desk made cable management a breeze.
If you get the PC mount, the under desk central cable bar is about 6cm in height. Useful to know when considering height clearances.
The included central cable cover does not sit flush with the side bars of the frame. There is a small gap either side. I found this very useful as I was able to zip tie a power board through these gaps so that I only need to worry about a single variable cord length to reach the power point.
I got the flat edge desk top so as not to loose the curved space in the ergonomic version. I haven't found working on this edge an issue as you can make incremental changes to make sure the desk height exactly suits where your arms want to be.
Very satisfied with this desk, its build quality and all the customisation options available. If you are considering a sit-stand desk and don't need a corner shape, I'd recommend an omnidesk.”
“Was wanting to buy a new standing desk for a while. Did my research and found that Omnidesk was the best in the market. Very sturdy and smooth transition between the different heights. Also love the cable management! my office looks great. Very happy with my purchase.”
“Desk is great and working well. However, the PC mount and drawer actually require drilling into the table which is way more work than I'd expected. I thought it would have come with a slot/ some mechanism for easy attachment. I have not installed all those because I am afraid that I might cause more damage to the table itself by trying to drill it on my own (I am not very handy at all with the drill). Table itself is great and works a treat.”
