“I love all things wood as I was born to a father who loves antiques. I had a 1.4m wooden table which I soon outgrown because most of my work required me to multi-task across a few windows and tabs. I was looking for something significantly longer than 1.4m and Omnidesk was the answer after much online research and showroom visits. For 183cm x 76cm, Omnidesk is selling the biggest and most value-per-m2 of solid wood standing desks available in the market for a price of SGD16XX, as compared to many known competitors.
I chose Pheasantwood mainly because of the woodgrains, the live edge design and also because it is valuable (albeit still planks).
I am not fussed about the Ascent or the Pro because I can still hear the sound of the motor either way but it does not disturb me. However, being able to control the desk from the mobile app and having a sleeker display will future-proof my table for the longer haul.
Lastly, similarly to the PW Arka Riser which I bought, I had a 6mm thick single-piece glass top cut to protect the surface of my table from dings and scratches (photos shown taken under two lighting). I am confident this investment will draw returns as I use it for the next 10 to 20 years of my life.”

2. Controller Error: The controller popped up an error message during use, rendering the desk non-operational.

• Email: I only received an email in the evening, asking me to troubleshoot on my own, without any direct assistance.
I have experienced better customer support and lesser hassle with products that cost significantly less than the Omnidesk. I urgently request immediate intervention to resolve these pressing issues.”
