“After a few colleagues bought Standing Desks it and their feedback I decided to go for Omnidesk Pro 2020. Great quality and I love the Wildwood tabletop (natural Hevea). I am very happy with my decision and enjoy standing half of my day when delivering workshops and coaching sessions. Added the Anti-Fatigue Mat which makes it very comfortable. Super silent and smooth when changing height. Would totally recommend it! Worth the investment when working from home at lot.”
“First things first, the assembly crew was really fast with the installation, so much so that it beggars belief. My friend tried installing it manually and ended up taking more than 1.5 hours. The assembly team did it in 10 mins tops, so if you're the kind that doesn't want to figure out how to fix it up, paying for assembly might be for you.
The table is sturdy in the low settings. Although it is marketed as a standing desk, I think one of the biggest selling points is the ability to adjust the desk to the exact right height for a good sitting posture. The standing option is nice but I find I don't use it too too often. One reason for that is that it wobbles at a standing height. It is not noticeable if you use the table alone, but if you had peripherals on the table that are wobbly themselves, like a monitor arm, or a desk lamp, the shaking becomes extremely obvious and quite annoying. I would give it 4.5 for the above fact but there isn't such a rating so I decided to stick with 5.
Also, something I find really strange is the fact that they say that the desks are future-proof, allowing for future upgrades to larger table tops, but on their support page it says that they don't sell table tops separately. I am thinking of upgrading my tabletop in the future so if Omnidesk could clarify on this, it would be fantastic.
All in all, a great buy, if you are deciding between the ergo curve or the straight edge, just get the ergo curve, it makes a difference.”
