“I am grateful to The Rootist allowing me to test these products prior to launch in exchange for my honest review. I have worked in the professional hair care industry for a few years so I have gotten to try out many products and have a lot to compare it to. I have thin, fine, frizzy hair that is somewhere between wavy & curly (2C-3A) and I have a ton of breakage- but not due to coloring because my hair is not colored. So I was excited to try this out.
I love how compact and small the bottles of shampoo & conditioner are and that the bottles are easily recyclable - something that is hard to find in a lot of hair care products! They are concentrated so a little goes a VERY long way. Just read the instructions and you will be good! This product does have a vinegary scent but to me it was the least vinegar scented of the 3 products I tried (shampoo, conditioner and treatment). My hair definitely felt really clean and while the scent was not my favorite, I did love how soft and clean my hair felt for days after. I have used it a few times and I have noticed less shedding with all these products as I used them in combination with the treatment, shampoo & conditioner! So I do hope it helps with my hair thickness over time with more use.”
“I love the way this product made my hair and scalp feel ! It was so hydrating to the touch and only needed half the product! It is so sleek and gorgeous gold design for any shower ! The product itself was thick to the touch and creamy and went onto the hair effortlessly! I highly recommend to any one who wants healthy hair from the roots to the ends. !”
“This product for me was really unique because using half of what I am used to was weird but my hair feels so soft and silky, even fresh out of the shower. I think emulsifying it in my hands before applying to to my hair definetly helped with feeling like I had the right amount of product, especially since I am used to using more than what they instruct to. My only complaint is the smell isn’t for me, but I prefer sweeter scents and this one is more fresh. Otherwise this is an amazing shampoo and I cannot wait to see the results from using it long term!”
“I got this product in exchange of my honest review. Its been almost 12days iam using it and iam loving the results. As continues using of hair tools my hairs become dry and damaged but with using this shampoo iam seeing good results. This shampoo is concentrated so you need little amount and you are good to go.loving the results and you must try it once”
“After using this product for a few days, I noticed instantly that my hair was much smoother and soft. My hair was color treated and undergone chemical treatment ever since 2015 so you could see how damaged my hair would be. As written on the product instructions, you really don't need too much of the product as it is a "concentrate". The product smells really good and although it may seem expensive for the price, it is worth it if you have a damaged hair like I do. I will most likely purchase this product again if I run out of the product :)”
“This is a good clarifying shampoo. I used it and it lathers well, I like that it helps clean my hair and also the scalp and keeps my root healthy. I like that it has concentrated amount so a little goes a long way. The peptide helps keep my hair shiny and healthy. “I love the idea of a concentrated shampoo that you don’t have to use a lot of. I only used a dime-sized amount of the Rootist shampoo on wet hair and then added more water to emulsify it. It left my hair feeling clean and fresh. I was left with smooth, frizz-free hair. I couldn’t believe how soft and smooth my hair was. I recommend using this along with the Rootist Concentrated Conditioner to get the best results. This is my new favorite shampoo!”
