“I've tried multiple different dry shampoos and I've never found one that doesn't make me itchy after a couple hours of wear. This Rootist Clarify Dry Shampoo has been a much better experience. While nothing beats the feeling of freshly washed hair, this dry shampoo really does dry up the oil and make the scalp feel clean. I feel like it gives me volume at the roots which is nice. After a few hours of wear, I can start to tell that it's on my scalp and I get the urge to wash my hair but I've been able to wear this dry shampoo for much longer than any of the aerosols I've tried. I like the light spearmint scent and the tingly feel on my scalp .it feels refreshing and I can style my hair as if it's day one, but with much more manageable hair! It is also ingeniously packaged in a small cylinder that has a pull-down plastic piece so you can cap it off and carry it along.

“As someone with oily scalp and black hair, I admit I’m both excited and a little skeptical about this tact-free dry shampoo in powder form. I only used aerosol spray type of dry shampoo before and the only experience with powder was baby powder, didn’t end so well as the white powders made my hair look even dirtier..I really like the application of this as I can apply it directly to where I wanted and it’s so easy with the brush application. Surprisingly, it does not leave any residue in my hair, which is so amazing to me. It’s also the perfect size for travel and on the go. I definitely see myself using this all the time to freshen up my scalp from second-day hair. I could notice significant excessive oil absorption instantly, plus it adds so much volume to my root areas. The powder has a fainted pleasant scent which is not overpowering or noticeable. I wish they have an option for buying refill as it would be so wasteful to throw away the whole thing after it empty. If you’re looking to try a new dry shampoo, consider this one as I’m hooked and will be repurchase it soon.

“This dry shampoo is conflicting to me because there are a few things that I like about it and a few things that I do not. To start off with the good, the brush is so soft and the bristles of the applicator are nice and gentle on the scalp. Also I like that it does not get too messy or leak everywhere. It is good at absorbing oils on my day 2 hair. Also even though I have black hair, it does not show up as white and the powder blends in beautifully once massaged in. Now sadly there were some not that great points with this product as well. First of all it took me a few times to realize that you can pull up the tube around the brush to protect the bristles by which point I had already ruined some on the sides since there were no instructions or images anywhere on the packaging. Next, I noticed that it only disperses very little product at a time which is okay but I wish there was a way to disperse more when you need to. Also it seems to only work well when my hair is lightly oily like for day 2 hair and it does not do much for day three or four like some other brands did. For these reason, I do not think I would personally recommend this dry shampoo.
