“I bought this outfit in two colors. Red and black. When I ordered the red one, unfortunately the extra small top was just a little too snug so I asked for an exchange for the small size.
What then commenced was a very long email exchange back and forth because if I had done an even exchange, I was told I would have to pay a $25 difference. This was for the shipping and the difference in price because I bought the top with the welcome code discount.
Maybe I’m just used to buying clothes online through companies that offer a pretty graceful return policy. Especially since size can vary when you receive the item. The thing is, I still wanted the top, I just wanted it one size up. Eventually they did negotiate with me to pay just for the shipping (which I still feel wasn’t great but I understand they’re a business and felt it was an ultimately fair compromise.)
After paying for the shipping, I got the exchange in the mail. Well I just opened it and it’s the wrong item. I’m sure this was an accident but this has been a very time consuming experience for clothes I just paid over $300 for. I supported the company and bought over $300 worth of merchandise. I thought that would be worth an exchange for one item that wasn’t the right size. I’ve never been met with an exchange policy like this from a company that I spent a considerable amount of money on.
I was happy to spend my money on these items when I got them. They’re beautiful and I wanted to support this brand. But here I am with two skirts, no top because I had to pay to send the other one back and probably another couple weeks of getting this sorted.
I’m hoping they can make it right but just be careful with what size you get because this return policy was a lot of hoops for me to navigate and I still don’t have the item that I paid for… twice…
I just hope they don’t tell me I have to pay to ship this item back because they sent me the wrong item by mistake.”
