“Bought this as a workhorse knife for my kitchen and I’m not disappointed. It’s a kind of east meets west knife and seems a bit more robust than a traditional Japanese knife- perfect for my busy kitchen.
Out of the box it was very sharp but after a few passes on my stone it’s razor sharp and has held its edge very well.
The only downside is the fit and finish of the handle. It is in no way uncomfortable but an extra ten minutes polishing would have been beneficial. But, for an inexpensive Japanese knife what do you expect?!”
