“Unfortunately this is the third piece of jewellery I have purchased from The Silver Collective that has been heavily tarnished on delivery. Most recently I received two necklaces I had bought at the end of November and started wearing one straight away. The other (Stasi Choker) stayed in its box until two weeks ago when I went to put it on…only to discover it was very badly tarnished. I sent an email along with photos as requested to the Silver Collective Customer Service team, only to be told that it had been deemed “wear and tear” and would not be replaced. I reiterated that the necklace had not been worn so it could not be wear and tear. Once again I had to send the necklace back at my cost, and whilst it was replaced (with no further communciation or apology) the whole Customer Service process has left a bad taste in my mouth. It feels like the onus is placed on the customer to prove that the item is damaged, when that is how it has been delivered, which does not sit well with me.
Sadly I will not be purchasing from The Silver Collective again.”
