“I bought this for and it was great. I would absolutely recommend it but there is something to note before you buy. This fork has an abnormally blocky and uncut look. If you like that, then go crazy, but do know that it will stick out a little in front of the bars. The single tool system that is used for tightening the bolt works fantasticly, however it sticks out just enough that when you do smith grinds OR stalls it will scratch the bolt a little if you don't land it perfectly. It's barely noticable however I got the gold version and scratches on it stand out like stars on the night sky. Besides that this fork was awesome! Super easy instillation and has a nice, modern look to it. The various color ways means it can be mixed and matched with your own scooter to make it look good. Overall awesome fork with a noticeable difference when installed. It even has better impact absorbtipn for higher and harder falls. I would recommend this fork and the price is worth it. I would also like to thank you guys at the Vault who go over these responses. Kinda irrelevant but I appreciate you all nonetheless! Thx!”
“So let’s start off with the pros so basically this fork is cool and I like the design and the self holding bolt and the price
Now the cons it’s a pretty long fork and so it easily snaps and I’m still like a beginner rider I’m not all that great but I wasn’t happy how fast it snapped and I didn’t snap it on purpose but it’s the first part I’ve ever snapped on my scoot but it’s gonna happen but over all it’s a good fork but not the best”
The length of the steering tube on a fork needs to somewhat match up with the length of your headtube to reduce the chance of too much stress leading to a broken fork. Also, IHC utilizes a much narrower steering tube so we typically recommend SCS or HIC if you're a more advanced rider/building your own scooter.
