“I’m saying Goid because I have bought Prodigy scooters from you before, and my grandson loves them. This is a Christmas present so I will update my review after he receives it for Christmas. He will have the deciding answer of the quality and look of his scooter. But past experience he has and does love his Prodigy scooters. This will be number 3. I buy for Christmas he rides all year and I get new one for Christmas. He is riding his from last year still and loves it, so does all the boys at our local skatepark, everyone wants to borrow them for a ride.”
“I mean the scooter itself is awesome and I love it I just for the life of me can’t get it to stay dialed it immediately after one ride is shaky and really rackety sounding. The wheels are great the bars are great and the deck size is awesome I just really can’t stand the fact that I either got a busted bearing or the headset is bad. Otherwise the quality of it is pretty good the website was easy to use and I genuinely enjoy the scooter maybe a new bearing will be better.”
Hey there! We appreciate the support and we’re happy to hear you love the scooter!\nAs for the scooter never staying dialed, our guess is it’s your compression. Your scooter is riding what’s called “IHC” and is super user-friendly to maintain. The best thing you can do is tighten your compression more than you normally would. We know the fork may not spin too fast when the bars are off. But once they’re back on it’ll feel great! By overtightening the compression, you’ll allow it to loosen up naturally, which causes it to stay tight but still spin freely. Once tightened, we recommend practicing the Tail Whip or Bar Spin motion on the ground to help it loosen up and find its sweet spot.
“I got this scoot about a year ago now and it is holding up great! but when I got it I immediately got a fender because i flatspoted one of the wheels really bad. in the top headset cut mine had a manufacturing defect but so far it has had no effect on the performance. I highly recommend this scoot to anyone either getting a little more serious into riding or if your a little taller.”
