“I waited two weeks for my scooter to come just to open it and there is a Nick on the handlebar then not to mention there was greasy fingerprints all over the deck, so I had to wipe it off before placing the grip tape been riding it for about a week now and now the handlebars have a little bit of play. I’ve tried tightening the clamp and did not help all in all not what it was made out to be the pros are I am 6’ 3 and it is perfect height”
Hello, \nI'm sorry to hear the scooter didn't get to you in brand new condition! Please know that these scooters are built from aftermarket products that are normally sold separately, so the distributor had to take them out of their original packaging, and put them all together. I would assume that this is when the grease/scuff occurred. \nAs for the bar having play, this is most likely caused by a loose SCS COMPRESSION, and not the SCS clamp itself. The compression can be found by loosening the 4 SCS clamp bolts (you would loosen clamp bolts evenly, so a quarter turn top bolt, quarter turn middle top, quarter turn middle bottom, quarter bottom, and repeat), remove the handlebar, and you will see the bolt inside your clamp. “Love this scoot. Whips feel a bit laborious, and the wide deck definitely takes getting used to. But I love that the bars are a comfortable height for me out of the box (I’m 6’3”). I’m even debating cutting them down a bit. The handlebars are very wide, also debating cutting them down slightly. I love the 30mm wheels and the replaceable deck inserts on the back are really nice, but locking into the first few grinds felt a bit squirrelly. Overall I’m stoked on this one and am especially excited to do 50/50’s for days.”
