“looks great on the bike, the brackets I bought from these guys are maybe a little shorter than I should have bought though so it sits a little lower than my stock one did, so must buy longer brackets at some point, very happy with the headlight though..”
“I am glad to have access Third gear as it has lots of good bits for my cafe project and other bikes. In my latest bos of bits were bullet indicators built to a much higher standard than I expected, Mirrors that are the closest to the 1960's ones I had on my TX when new and a chrome headlight that is 100% perfect. I say that as I hesitated to get one after some negative feedback. It replaces the genuine chrome one with a shape that looks much more 'cafe'. Third time I have bought from this supplier. Missed out on a cafe seat though.”
“I was surprised at how good it looks for a cheap headlight. The chrome and lens looks great, and the bulb is decent and nice and bright.
The only concerns were raised on dis-assembly. The way the globe mounts is with a piece of spring-loaded wire, which wasn't especially secure, and was too long, so it lifted the dust boot open. Any dust or moisture could just make it's way in. A quick trim and bend of the wire fixed that though. All up, I'm pretty impressed for the price.”
“Gday .I was disappointed with my headlight I bought .first thing I noticed was the cheap chrome finish you can see through it .Secondly was the fitment of the glob , the housing tooked like it had been hacked by vandals .The only reason l gave positive feedback was for Fast postage. I suppose its my falt thought $50 wont buy much what was I thinking ? Thanks for the cheap rubbish I bought of you .Cheers Steve .”
