“Unfortunately the brackets supplied do not fit the plate on the back of my V-Strom. Some serious modification will be required. Instructions supplied are very vague and generalistic.”
“Happy with the top box but had a small problem with the latch not locking in place. Only a little bit of filing to the plastic lid latch area and it is now fine.
This was only a bit of plastic not trimed off during production. All good now.

“Difficult to close and lock, doesn't seem to fit well and I have to constantly fiddle with the top and the lock to get it to close properly. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this.”
“Secure Latch, now that's a joke. This box has a lid that does not fit properly and is almost impossible to lock. I had to use a large occy strap to secure the lid down.”

Don't be fooled by the very affordable (some may say cheap) price. These top boxes are very strong, I should know as I threw mine down the road at 120kmph and the top box stayed all in one piece. Whilst I only required a replacement base plate, purchasing the whole box and plate together is no big deal. Worth every $ spent. Highly recommend Third Gear top boxes.”
