“My kids - 10 year olds - were up and paddling on their Prodigy's within minutes. They love these boards. They are much thinner and have less volume that an adult board, and hence inflate very quickly - a pleasure for the parent for sure. Also, the paddles are smaller, sized for a kid, as is the leash. Thurso, for some reason, doesn't tell you this! All in all, a remarkable board. Designed for kids. And lighter and smaller than a big board so also great for the parents too. As well, I have an adult Thurso, and the fins are completely interchangeable - which makes it quite handy during setup.”

“I gave this to my daughter for her 9th birthday. She loves it! It is light enough that she and her 6 year old brother can carry it together. It is very maneuverable and easy to use for a kid. The light paddle makes a big difference in making it user friendly for a kid too. We paddled together for 2 hours earlier this week - made it all over the lake together and she had a great time!”

“I have a 12yo and 9yo, 74 and 47 pounds. So, not the biggest. These boards are well made and perfect for them! My wife and I purchased some cheaper boards and you can tell the difference!”
