“This is a great board, however it is on the small side so you have to have 3 balance. I love that it has so many clips, so you can carry it easily or add a kayak seat if you want to. It's easy to blow up, use and put away. I highly recommend this board, however some people with balance issues may want to go with the larger size”

“The board seems like it's 3 quality. It's winter though so I haven't gotten to use it it. Thurso has been emailing me incessantly asking for a review though. I wish they'd stop. I just ordered it early in case of a big spring rush I wanted to have mine already. Anyway the board seems worth the money but if you do buy from them be prepared for millions of emails.”

“It's one of those boards that separate themselves from the pack of mass-produced meh SUPs. It's heavy, but that makes it stable and the fins make it track surprisingly well. I could do a head-stand on it and a step-back turn which puts this in a versatile category both for beginners and intermediate paddlers. The paddle is much better than other competitors too. The pump is great. The bag is great--which is needed because the board is on the heavy side.”

“I was hesitant to buy an inflatable SUP. I did a ton of research online and eventually found Thurso Surf as one of the best and best value for price paid. Since this is the first inflatable SUP board Ive ever used its hard for me to compare and know how to rate this. Overall, I wasvery happy with the quality of the board. It looks great, it's easy to put together and carry. I'm taking off half a point for being made in China and another half point because even though I read that the board was enough for a guy my size 5'11, 180 lbs once I was out in the ocean, even in calm waters I didn't feel it was very stable. I actually returned this board with the brands 30 day guarantee and upgraded for the Thurso 2020 132 which is much much better (I'll write a separate review about that). I do have to compliment the team for their prompt professional responses and the efficiency of the exchange. Five stars for customer service.”

“Deducted one star for it being made in China. There are more than enough options out there for US made brand names. The overall package and accessories were 3 the the overall price, the carbon fiber paddle, wheels on bag, and double pump are definitely a plus - most inflatables don't offer these options for this price. The color and design is also one of the best I've seen. Doesn't operate well on choppy water, great on still. The print lettering tends to rub off fairly quickly.”
