“I am a beginner user and quite happy with my Waterwalker 132 bought almost a year ago. Handles on all sides make it easy to carry. There is a thick nonsliding surface on top which makes it a lot easier to get on and off. From time to time I am using it with my sister and it handles heavy weights (2 people) with no trouble. The downside is that it is heavier than I expect but I far as I know newer models are a little improved in that sense. Overall, I certainly recommend 132 for anyone who might consider buying a SUP.”

“I’ve used the 132 waterwalker board several times now, on the ocean, and I love it. It’s really well constructed, with lots of attention to detail. I love the fact I can Velcro my paddle to the board when carrying it, for example. It feels very stable, and moves well through the water. It also looks great! My only complaint is the paddle handle doesn’t tighten sufficiently and shifts in length as I paddle. Not a big deal and I can probably find a way to fix this issue myself. I’d definitely recommend this board to others, having tried many inflatables out over the years.”

“This board has been great so far. It looks great, feels great quality, and very sturdy in the water. Can easily support myself (6'1) and 5 year old daughter for a 4 hour paddle, yet does not feel too bulky. We have paddled on lakes and rivers so far and works great on both. Next we will be trying the surf. Highly recommend.”

“My wife and I got hooked on stand up paddling our first time out with friends. We paddled the harbor seeing dolphin, seals, pelicans and nice people. I decided to surprise my wife with a SUP of our own. After extensive research on line and asking around, I determined that Thurso Surf had the best quality, style and versatility at a 3 price. I placed the order and the SUP was at my door within a week. Amazing. I realized in my excitement to order, I forgot to get some of the accessories like the kayak seat for paddling while seated, so sent customer service an email asking what I needed. They got back to me by the morning, I placed a follow up order and everything arrived quickly. My wife was beaming with joy with her gift. “This was my first purchase of a SUP after renting some different models of SUPs to try out first. I wanted an SUP that was stable enough to bring my dog along on paddles, tracked well and was inflatable for easy travel. The Waterwalker delivers on all of these. It is (as stated) a great All Round SUP and a great middle of the road option. I would say its stability outweighs its tracking and it is a heavy inflatable board (I wouldn't want to have to pack it too far) but for the quality materials and price it is worth it.”

“This board is made from quality material and is fun to use. It's a stable board that can support a lot of weight. The paddle holders are a great feature. It's got a lot of storage room so you can bring a good quantity of equipment with you. The air pump it comes with works really well. On the down side it takes a while to fill this board with air due to it's size, it's a little heavy to carry when not in the water and moves slowly on the water.”

“I love my board and have recommended it to a lot of people already. I’m still pretty new to SUP but am already really happy with my purchase. It feels great out on the lake and I feel very stable on it, even when navigating boat wakes. I can feel the quality and firmness of the board each time I’m out. I would say the colour is closer to a burnt orange then a crimson.
The paddle is light enough that my toddler can actually paddle the board a bit on their own. I find the handle comfortable to grip and the pieces fit together nicely.
The only thing I would improve on the package is on the carrying bag itself. I would want a piece of velcro or a zipper to be able to close the mesh pocket on the inside of the bag. Everything dumps out when I open the flap to get my board out. Otherwise the bag is great, really sturdy and I like that it has wheels.”
