“I got this seat to feel as comfortable kayaking with my paddle board, as I would on an actual kayak. The material is nice and light, and the quality seems good. However, it was very difficult to adjust the seat properly to my board. I couldn't adjust the straps while the seat was clipped onto my board; all 4 straps had to be set exactly the right lenght before clipping them in, which ended up being quite the endeavor. Even after adjusting the seat to a somewhat comfortable angle, I couldn't lean completely onto the back of the seat without the bottom part slidding towards the front, and thus, necessating to reinstall everything again. This was very frustrating after all the effort it took to get the positioning right. Not being able to fully lean on the back of the seat defeats the purpose for me, and I am just as comfortable simply sitting on my board, legs crossed or bent; moreover, I don't have to carry an extra accessory. As is, I would not recommand. Perhaps, more instructions are needed for the installation, although it seemed quite simple on the website's video, I found it very difficult to install, and was not able to use it as intended.”

“Ultra light. I thought the box it came in was empty. Took 5 minutes to get it adjusted as I wanted but comfortable enough and I can place mats under it to lift it more if I wanted. Versatile. I've got 2 very different paddle boards and it easily transfers and adjusts to both.
The free shipping to this island where Masset is located is strongly appreciated. No free shipping from Amazon here; they charge about $150 for the smallest of parcels. Thurso Surf seems to run a pretty good business.”
“I bought the Expedition 138 Touring Sup and got the kayak seat for free during their Thanksgiving promotion. So far I like the seat. It stays in place better than my Tahoe seats and is very easy to put on and take off. Works very well on my sup.”
