I've used a wide range of brands and different styles of SUP boards before purchasing the Waterwalker 132 All-around SUP as an extra board for trips with more company. Upon arrival the board was checked and there were already quite a few things that indicated the quality control on this particular board did not seem up to standards. Excess glue on several components, mismatched placements of parts, bubbling, crooked deck pad, small rip in the deck pad near the center handle, ... It was a little dissapointing having heard so much good from the brand. Despite the initial flaws I decided to take the board out for the trips it was bought for and it does seem to be a solid stable board that's very forgiving for children and beginners. I have no doubt that it is possible to also bring along a well-behaved pet. I can't flaw the ergonomics, design and shape of this SUP. It just works and is a good all-around board for the whole family. The design also looks great and quite summery. It's a big plus that they supply the board with an electric pump. While not the fastest and best out there it's a solid piece of kit that supplements the board. The accessory pouch included with the board is also a great piece of engineering and holds everything you need with the board. Is this pouch sold seperately yet? If not, do it! It will sell like hot cakes. Kudos to Thurso Surf for both the pump and pouch included in the standard package. The paddle included is also a step up from the standard beginner aluminium paddles and is enjoyable to use even for prolonged periods. The fins are also more than adequate for beginners and are easy to install. Only suggestion here is that I missed a US Fin box screw to grant more security alongside the Kumano system. The carry bag is way too big, quite soft and very floppy but seems to be holding up so far. Not my favorite bag and I often transport the items out of the bag or in a different bag for this very reason. I would use it more often if it was not so floppy and was waterproof. Inflated to 15 PSI the board is stiff enough to be used without any issues, even with luggage or passengers. There is a lot of flex when jumping on the board and a little give when paddling hard but nothing to scoff at and it's not a detriment to the overall experience. Again the board does well on the water and has been reliable so far when using at the recommended weight. I'd love to recommend this board to everyone out there but besides the initial flaws and quality control issues the board is already showing damage despite meticulously caring for it. We only inflate to recommended PSI and always on a huge soft camping carpet, same for deflating so the board is never scraped on anything. After use the board gets a thorough washing with cold water (no chemicals!) and is then left to dry completely before storing it flat. I baby the thing like it's our most prized possession. After only 5 daytrips however there is already signifact damage on the rails despite not hitting anything, the deck is coming apart at the board near the tail section, there are little rips near the center handle despite it being carried with a carrier and also some beginning rips near the D-rings near the cargo section. It's normal to have some wear and tear with use but not like this, not with gentle care and certainly not after only 5 uses. I'm extremely concerned the board won't last a few years which it should at this price range. It's a shame because otherwise I love this board and the whole set-up surrounding it.

Super happy with my first paddle board. It fits me and my medium-sized dog comfortably, and the included accessories make it ready to go out of the box.
