“The Icarus Beige Porcelain Outdoor Slabs have been fantastic. Delivery was very quick, arriving just two days after ordering, which was a pleasant surprise.
My only concern was the communication advising that any issues had to be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Given the weight and quantity of the slabs, I felt this was a little restrictive as many customers may not be able to fully inspect everything within that timeframe.
The order was slightly more than a full pallet, and the way the slabs were stacked made unloading and removing them somewhat awkward. It was difficult to maintain stability when taking slabs from the pallet, and there was a risk of them toppling over. One slab did fall during unloading, although fortunately it wasn't damaged. Better pallet packing or support would make this process much safer and easier.
That said, the slabs themselves are excellent. The colour and finish look exactly as expected, and now that they are laid on the mortar bed they look fantastic. The quality is outstanding, and they have completely transformed the space.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase. The product itself is easily 5/5, and with some improvements to packaging and handling this would have been a perfect experience.”
