“Such a nice tile! Great quality for the price, arrived next day and easy to lay! Will definitely order more for future products and already recommended.”
“Firstly, the tiles are listed under the 60x60 category, but the description specifies they are actually 59.5 cm. In reality, they measure just 59.2 cm. Over the span of 10–11 tiles, this small difference adds up significantly and affects alignment.
Secondly, the tiles are quite fragile. While they can be cut in straight lines without issue, any attempt at L-shaped cuts almost always results in cracking.
Thirdly, although these tiles are advertised as rectified—which should mean they are precisely machine-cut—they are not perfectly square. This becomes noticeable during installation and prevents a truly clean, uniform finish.
On the positive side, they do look great aesthetically. However, due to the issues mentioned above, I wouldn’t recommend them.”
We are very sorry to see that you are experiencing these difficulties, and want to assist in any way that we can.
I can confirm that the tiles are rectified - however, if you can please send us some images showing this, and the other issues that you are reporting, we would be more than happy to look into this as a matter of urgency and with the view to resolve these problems for you.
The tiles should not be fragile and should be easily cut using a diamond-tipped electronic wet-wheel cutter. If this is the type of cutter being used and you are still experiencing problems, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Regards,
Joanna
“On the description is says 595x595
The builder build the walls to 3m which is 5 tiles plus 5 mm gap..... we're short by 10mm becuase the tiles are NOT 595X595!!! THEY ARE 592 X 592!!!!!”
We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused.
Tiles are produced in batches, and due to the way that tiles are made, they can vary slightly in terms of size from batch to batch. We have to advertise the tiles at the nominal size, which is 595x595mm - but a particular batch can measure between 590 and 600mm. This is allowed and regulated by British Tiling Standards.
We are very sorry, however, if the tiles are not as expected. We have been in touch to discuss this further with you, and would be happy to accept a return on anything that is in a resellable condition, should you choose not to use the tiles.
Regards,
Joanna
