“The tiles presented a certain amount of problems in mounting on the wall, with the weight of individual tiles causing some slippage. Once this problem had been circumvented, the job speed increased significantly.
Scribe a line on the wall along the lower surface of the dry tile, which is positioned in place. Drill two 4mm holes to a depth of 15mm, and place a round masonry nail into each hole. These nails will then be used to support the wet tile and arrest any movement; they can later be removed once the cement is holding the tile.”
“Very happy with these tiles as they came and the delivery man was very helpful to put them in front of my garage for me. They’re also in excellent condition of how they were packed and I liked how when the samples came there was a light grey and a dark grey Belize Tile which made it a lot easier so that we didn’t have to get two different types of tiles we could just get one type in the two different colours to go into our ensuite. It’s a very pleased and look forward to them going up next month.”
