“First time I’ve laid porcelain tiles and I’m delighted with the results. I laid them on a full bed of sand/cement mix with slurry applied to the tile before bedding and levelling with a mallet. A set of vibrating suction cups would definitely make the laying and levelling process easier.
Only point to note regarding the tiles themselves is that they chip really easily, so be careful when moving etc. I managed to chip one when I leant one against a wall to apply the slurry. Would advise laying against a soft surface to do this.”
