“I was really pleased with the tiles once they finally arrived – they’re excellent quality and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the customer service and delivery experience let the whole purchase down.
I arranged a delivery date well in advance and booked a day off work to be home for the delivery. By midday on the scheduled delivery day I still hadn’t received a tracking number, so I contacted Tile Mountain. I was then told there was no stock available. This was extremely frustrating, especially as they had over four weeks to organise the order and delivery.
Just two minutes after that phone call, I received another call saying stock had been found and my order had been booked for delivery the following Monday. That left me wondering why I had initially been told there was no stock.It certainly felt like the stock had been there all along and that the order simply hadn’t been processed properly.
The biggest issue is that I lost a day’s wages waiting for a delivery that had never actually been organised. The company was quick enough to take my money, but not to ensure the order was delivered as agreed.
The tiles themselves are great, but the poor communication and lack of organisation made what should have been a straightforward purchase a very disappointing experience.”
