“I have fitted laminate flooring before but this is far superior and actually is waterproof so no ruined floor in years to come from spillages. Easy to click together and looks great. “I got a number of samples from tile mountain and other places. With click fit I went on my usual test of of how tough the layer is. Most of the samples I tested with a sharp object would scratch pretty easily. Mainly because the grain is too deep. Even with significantly more expensive flooring it would scratch.
The willow is extremely tough and hard to scratch. Obviously it’s not completely scratch proof but it’s definitely going to hold up for some years. It also helps the grain in the finish being subtle which is more natural. This also helps any sharp objects or moving furniture scratch easily as it doesn’t get caught in the grooves.
Overall I’m happy I went with this flooring and the colour is perfect!”
