After visiting a woodworking supplies retail outlet I was adviced to throw the 6 blade cutter away and get a 4 blade cutter. I do not know why because I do have a 4 blade to make a comparion. The cutters to remove the glue inside the tube works very well they are a good close fit. I wish the cutter shafts were a little longer so I could clean the tube from one end right through in one go. Your delivery time is outstanding. Well done.

This is an excellent quality tool and has improved the preparation of my pen blanks. Make sure that you check the barrel cutter after preparing your blank to make sure there is no CA glue build up in the cutter head. If there is it will not function properly. The build up is easy to remove. It should also be mentioned that the customer service and delivery times provided by Timberbits is really amazing. Great products, great quality and timely delivery.

I found the head went blunt very quickly and when I tightened the small screw on head as it was spinning on shaft, the head rounded and can't be taken out now. Not overly impressed at all.

A very handy bit of kit, BUT it only got 3 stars because of bad design. In my apprenticeship many years ago I was very firmly told countersinking and facing tools MUST have an ODD number of teeth, not an even number (6) like this one. I recently bought a pack of 6 countersinking tools of various sizes from Aldi and all these had 3 teeth. When one of these kits comes out with 3 or 5 teeth it will get 5 stars.
