“Slimline kits are a staple for pen makers. Whilst on the thin side, there asre not many pens that feature 100 mm of wood, so they are a good choice for nice wood. The gunmetal plating goes well with light to medium colour woods (eg Huon pine, Olive, Osage Orange and many more) as well as working with the darker woods. I like to put a few subtle curves into the blanks rather than just straight barrels. Quality has always been consistent, and the price excellent - they make great pens for give-aways as relatively small $ has been invested.”
