“Very happy with both the bed and the service received from Time4Sleep.
We had a slightly longer wait than normal due to lockdown however the team at Time4Sleep were always only a quick friendly phone call or email away to give us an update.
The delivery team they use are very efficient and have a very good online booking system to specify a day. The night before your delivery day you get given a 3 hour window via text and then on the day, they call you up ahead of schedule to tell you they are on their way.
The bed itself is straight forward to put together. Its literally a case of joining 4 pieces of wood together for the day bed and 4 pieces of wood together for the trundle, all with the fixings provided. Then simply screw down the slats and throw the mattresses on. I used the Allen key provided plus my own philips screwdriver.
Once the bed is put together its really solid and we couldnt be happier with it. Especially for the price which with the two mattress bundle works out cheaper than the Ikea equivalent.
The only slight negative with the assembly process is the screws are hard to put in when attaching the slats to the frame. This is because there arent any pre drilled holes in the frame to take the screw so you make your own as you screw into the wood. This is common practice with flat pack beds and isnt a unique problem to this bed. Its just worth bearing in mind you may require the assistance of an electric screwdriver or a drill to drive the screws in all the way.
That being said we cant recommend this bed enough and once child number two is ready for a full size bed we will definitely be buying one for her room too!”
