The Root Grapple Rake Attachment features an extra-wide rake opening style grapple with long tines for digging and ripping roots out of the soil. The extra-wide opening of these clamshell-style grapples makes pushing and gripping large loads easy. This root grapple is specifically designed for Bobcat loaders with a Universal Skid Steer Hookup. The implement includes twin 3,000 PSI cylinders, greaseable pins, bushings, hoses, and flat-faced couplers. The Root Grapple Rake is an excellent landscaping tool, providing a superior and more efficient way to topple dead trees, dig up roots, and remove brush and other odd-shaped or hard-to-lift material.

“The rake is really nice. My only concern was what to do with the hydraulic lines. As you can see in the photo. To resolve the hydraulic line issue, I took a bungee and a cut off piece of hose. Running the bungee through the hose over the hydraulicI line and back down through, connecting it to the rake on both ends It's an old ATV break line trick.”

“After less than 25 hrs of use, a weld on the cross member on the opening side of the claimshell failed. Both sides of the weld ripped off and teh grapple was damaged. Unfortunately, Titan dragged their feet for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, still waiting for a response as to wether they will cover the bad weld under their warranty. I bought this grapple to use not store. This is the 3rd skid steer attachment I bought from them. Th other 2 were great. This one has so far been dissapointing. Looks like I will have to fix it on my own.”

“Considering the price and free freight, this is a good buy. It does what it says its going to do. Seems rugged with good initial quality. We will use this almost daily on a 75HP tractor so time will tell the rest of the story. We installed shorter hydraulic hoses with fittings for a tractor. The hoses on the grapple are an odd size fyi. I had a great customer service experience that made buying easy. Highly recommend Titan so far.”

“Strong, heavy duty, it should less long while. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is, It doesn't have "stops" to limit movement of Grapple at "open-close" position to protect hydraulic cylinders, and bottom pin at Hydroulic pistons have no grease fittings ( Zirks). Shipping was total disaster. (time wise ) I end up picking it up from last warehouse before final delivery on my own....Only 1 hr a way from my location. I have slight use out of it so far. Works good. How ever I have to work on my skills to perfect it. Overall, Good product! I would buy it again! I would recommend it to my good friend !”

“The only reason I did not give this a 5 rating is the lack of a guard to protect hose fittings. I will retrofit a plate before I use this as I know a limb will push through and break fittings or tee. Shipping was great, received earlier than expected. Grapple appears to be well made and I anticipate using it a lot. I have at least 6 items I have purchased from Titan with no major complaints.”

“Only thing the coupler is not working now very cheap couplers. Cylinder is seeping has about 10 hrs on it at most. But grapple is nice. I hope they fix my warranty issues”
