HD Root Grapple Rake Attachment, Fits John Deere 60" (Recommended for Series 2, 3, & 4 Tractors) Reviews

4.5 Rating 32 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The HD Root Grapple Rake is ideal for picking up and moving rocks, logs, brush, debris, and other odd-shaped or hard-to-lift materials. The extra-wide opening of the rake-style grapple makes pushing and gripping large loads easy. Plus, our design allows this equipment to fit tractor loaders equipped with the hook and pin style mounting system. The implement includes twin 3,000 PSI cylinders, greaseable pins, bushings, hoses, couplers, and pin-on bucket teeth. Over time and with constant use, the bucket teeth can get damaged or worn out. This does not have to mean the end of this incredible piece of hardware. We have made it so the bucket teeth can be easily replaced.

NOTE: When ordering this Grapple Rake, you must provide your phone number so the trucking and shipping company can schedule delivery.

The HD root grapple is made very well with the thick steel and replaceable teeth that well exceed any forces I can could possibly put on it or damage it. I'm happy with my purchase.

Check hydraulic fittings!!!!! 2 fittings were finger tight, had oil spraying everywhere. Also wasn’t aware it’s made in China………Grapple looks substantial, and is heavy. Currently have it on a JD 4044m, almost feels like my tractor is a little small for the grapple. Don’t really picture using it on a 3 series, let alone a 2 series

We had purchased a set of pallet forks from this supplier a few years back and was very disappointed in them the welds were terrible and the steel was of suspect quality. So when it came to this purchase i was very sceptical about it, I thought they might have lifted there game BUT alas they have not. There are cold welds everywhere, no penetration or weld preparation. The slag from the cutting process has not been removed. There is not one square frame connection on it, the hydraulic cylinders will start braking there ends off on the first opening they are not parallel. The clearance between pin and bushing is all ready to much. It's so bad we have not even bothered to take it out the crate. Only gave it one star because I had to there should be no stars.

Got this grapple to replace a brush crusher. Should have done it earlier. Heavier than I thought it would be lost some lifting capacity, but so much sturdier. Had to change the QD fittings match up with the Artillian set on my diverter.

There needs to be a metal plate in front of where the hydraulic hoses and fittings are located. Without it the fittings are subject to damage by an errant log or limb. I put one on mine.

This grapple exceeded my expectations greatly. It is a bit heavy for my 3043 John Deere but a counterweight fixed that problem. This is one of the best purchases that I have made in years. Time and back saver for cleaning lots of brush and limbs. Very strong and well made. I love it
