The Root Grapple Rake Attachment features a wide rake opening style grapple with long tines for digging and ripping roots out of the soil. The extra-wide opening of these clamshell-style grapples makes pushing and gripping large loads easy. This root grapple is specifically designed for Bobcat loaders with a Toro Dingo-style hookup making it compatible with miniature skid steers such as Toro Dingo, Boxer, Ditch Witch, Thomas, Finn, Ramrod, Kanga, Powerhouse, and Prodigy. The implement includes twin 3,000 PSI cylinders, greaseable pins, bushings, hoses, and flat-faced couplers. The Root Grapple Rake is an excellent landscaping tool, providing a superior and more efficient way to topple dead trees, dig up roots, and remove brush and other odd-shaped or hard-to-lift material.

“Everythign works as you would imagine, however, the mounting plate dimensions are off so there is excessive play on the attachment. As we use the rake, we are contemplating shining the plate to tighten up and ensure the attachment will not pop off...”

“This product does not fit the Toro dingo 1000, the metal is very cheap and easily. I do not recommend this product.”

“I received this grapple only to discover that the attachment plate was built incorrectly and the grapple falls off of my skidsteer. I was in contact with the seller for two weeks providing them with the info and repair quotes that they requested only for them to quit responding to emails. I have now had the grapple for 3 weeks and have been unable to use it due to this flaw. I cannot recommend this grapple nor the company that will not stand behind their products.”

“Fabrication of grapple appears to be of average quality, nothing spectacular. changed all of the grease fittings so my grease gun would lock onto the fittings. removed the bottom cylinder bolts and greased before use, added 1/2" plate to the bottom of the quick-attach socket because the opening was too large for my mini skid steer and cut 42" off of the hydraulic lines to fit my mini skid steer. For reference, my mini skid steer is a Chinese made AGT model KBT23. The grapple does however, work as it was intended to and it is worth the price, just know that you may need to make some modifications before use.”
